Freqtrade Strategy is an independent site that backtests freqtrade strategies under identical conditions and publishes every result, good or bad, along with the code and settings needed to reproduce it.
Why this site exists
There are hundreds of freqtrade strategies on GitHub, Discord and forums, usually shared with a screenshot of one impressive backtest. Those results use different coins, dates, fees and stake sizes, so they cannot be compared. Many are tested only during a bull market.
We run every strategy on the same data and settings, put the results side by side, and compare them with simply holding Bitcoin. We also explain in plain English what each strategy actually does, including when its rules make little sense.

How the site is funded
Some links to exchanges and services are affiliate links. If you sign up through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes the test results: every strategy is tested the same way and every result is published. See our affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
If you find an error in a result, a guide or a strategy description, we want to fix it. Every strategy page includes the exact command used, so you can check our numbers yourself.
